Rice Pongal Recipe
Ingredients:
- 200 gms rice
- 100 gms moong dal
Method:
- Wash rice and dal.
- Cook together till done.
- Transfer cooked rice into big vessel and add 2 cups of water again cook it until soft texture.
Seasoning Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 1 tsp rai seeds
- 1 tbsp broken kaju pieces
- 6 green long slit chillies
- 1 tsp Black pepper roughly crushed
- 1” pcs ginger chopped
- Pinch haldi, salt to taste.
- 1 bunch karvepak leaves
- 1 bunch chopped kothmir
Seasoning Method:
- Pour all the above ingredients on rice.
- Serve with curd raita.
