Rice Pongal Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 200 gms rice 
  • 100 gms moong dal

Method:

  1. Wash rice and dal. 
  2. Cook together till done. 
  3. Transfer cooked rice into big vessel and add 2 cups of water again cook it until soft texture.

Seasoning Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tsp rai seeds
  • 1 tbsp broken kaju pieces
  • 6 green long slit chillies
  • 1 tsp Black pepper roughly crushed
  • 1” pcs ginger chopped 
  • Pinch haldi, salt to taste.
  • 1 bunch karvepak leaves
  • 1 bunch chopped kothmir

Seasoning Method:

  1. Pour all the above ingredients on rice.
  2. Serve with curd raita.
